BJP’s national chief Amit Shah is down with swine flu and is being treated at AIIMS in the national capital. Wish to get well soon, the BJP chief tweeted. On Tuesday, Amit Shah had offered prayers at the Jagannath Temple in Ahmedabad.

According to sources at AIIMS, the BJP leader was admitted following complaints of chest congestion and breathing problems around 9 pm. The doctors are monitoring his situation under the supervision of AIIMS director Randeep Guleria, sources said.

Shah had informed people regarding his sickness Wednesday in a tweet. He was diagnosed with swine flu.

Shah was admitted on Wednesday night to the Old Private ward of the institute after he complained of fever and chest congestion.
