Ralph Northam

What has Northam said?
“This behavior is not in keeping with who I am today and the values I have fought for throughout my career in the military, in medicine, and in public service,” the governor said in a statement after the picture was made public.

“But I want to be clear, I understand how this determination shakes Virginians’ trust in that commitment.”

He proceeded: “I recognize that it will take time and serious attempt to recover the injury this conduct has caused. I am ready to do that significant work.

“The first(1st) step is to offer my honest apology and to state my absolute commitment to living up to the expectations Virginians set for me when they elected me to be their governor.”

CNN – the network that promotes the hashtag #FactsFirst -mislabeled embattled Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam as a Republican on Friday during a division regarding the Democrat’s apology for his racist 1984 medical school yearbook photo.

The photo showed two(2) men holding beers – one dressed in blackface, the other in a KKK robe — but Northam never made clear which one was him.
